Something is better than nothing. Although, at just 2 hours a month, I wouldn’t be shocked if Bright House uses this as a way to get another small revenue stream since people that work and/or live around the area would like to use this most likely more than 2 hours a month.

Bright House Networks will be offering a Wi-Fi service in Tampa Bay’s downtown area and riverfront public parks. The service is available for free for anyone to use for up to 2 hours or 1 GB a month. Once users go over the cap, they can purchase additional time. Bright House Networks didn’t say how much the additional blocks of time would cost, or how many hotspots it will deploy. – CEDMagazine
