As we have discussed quite frequently, business has never been better for those in the telecom industry. But last year, CEO’s from a number of different telecom companies sent a letter to the FCC claiming that net neutrality would hurt their business, lower investment and likely hurt consumers.
One of the CEO’s in the letter to the FCC was Cox Communication’s Patrick Esser. Let’s move forward a year and see how net neutrality has killed off Cox’s business.
Cox Business is close to reaching its goal of attaining $2 billion in revenue in 2015. In an interview with Light Reading, Hyman Sukiennik, vice president of sales and operations at Cox Business said that it is very close to meeting that goal and added that 2016 is shaping up to be an even stronger year for the company. – FierceTelecom
